Released August 22, 2025, Black Bolt is one half of the Scarlet & Violet era's Unova-themed dual release alongside sister set White Flare, a deliberate callback to the Black & White era's Reshiram and Zekrom split. Evolve Tepig and Oshawott into Emboar and Samurott, hunt the Legendary and Mythical chase cards, and look out for full-art Pokémon illustrations and parallel Poké Ball pattern cards across the set.

Chase cards to pull:

• Reshiram ex SIR – the headline Legendary of the Black Bolt side
• Keldeo ex SIR
• Emboar and Samurott Illustration Rares
• Poké Ball pattern parallel cards across the set

Good for

• Collectors wanting a low-commitment entry to the Black Bolt card pool for a complete sealed set lineup
• Players chasing Unova staples and Legendary cards to add to the binder
• Gift buyers after a sealed Pokémon TCG pickup well below ETB pricing
